We have recently agreed a new Business Plan which outlines our priorities and an ambitious programme of work to be carried out over the next 10 years. As part of that planning process we have looked closely at the types of people we will need to deliver our vision, and that review has led to the creation of this exciting new leadership role.

LIVE ∙ WORK ∙ LEAD

Adult Social Care in Wiltshire is currently going through a major transformation programme. The vision is to support independent lives through greater personalisation of care and safeguarding services. Of equal importance is the need for us to have an increased emphasis on prevention and early intervention to reduce demand for some of our services - so people get help as early as possible to prevent problems escalating. This new post will lead and transform our learning disabilities and mental health services, and will operate across adult care and commissioning to drive and deliver this vision.

* When compiling the timetable, we are conscious that the final panel interview dates do stretch into what is traditionally the summer holiday period. If you are interested in the role but the proposed dates for the final panel will cause you concerns due to pre-arranged holiday commitments, please do let us know in advance of the closing date. Should we find that a significant number of candidates are experiencing difficulties, we will look to see if there is any flexibility.
