We have recently agreed a new Business Plan which outlines our priorities and an ambitious programme of work to be carried out over the next 10 years. As part of that planning process we have looked closely at the types of people we will need to deliver our vision, and that review has led to the creation of this exciting new leadership role.


This role is integral to our modernisation approach, leading on the strategic development of our finance, procurement and pensions functions and teams.  These teams are already well established but we are keen to further develop our commercial approach to procurement, ensuring it is consistently applied across the organisation, able to support local businesses, and enhance social value.  Your strong public-sector finance experience and understanding of procurement will drive and guide our approach to enhance our systems and financial literacy throughout our organisation as well as our partnership and stakeholder networks.
